This charming rural house has a relaxing pool area surrounded by centennial olive trees. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding hills randomly dotted with typical white houses against the more muted shades of the countryside. The interior is simple and friendly.
Location and outside area
The cottage is approximately 2 km from the village of Cómpeta, a 5 minute drive, but can also be walked in 30 minutes, a pleasant hike to enjoy the surrounding countryside. Upon arrival at the village, you will find several taverns and restaurants with traditional cooking. The centre of Competa is a labyrinth of narrow streets, stairs, and little squares where family run shops will invite you to taste the sweet local muscatel wine, Competa's pride, and several types of honey from a wide variety of blossoms. Competa is one of the white villages of the Axarquia area and only 15 km from the beaches of Nerja or Torrox. To the north you can discover the Sierra de Tejeda y Almijara Natural Park , ideal for hiking, mountain biking, or bird watching. Outside of the house there is a shaded barbecue area for your alfresco dinners and a private pool surrounded by olive trees providing good privacy. Add the amazing views from the terrace and you will agree that this is a perfect place for relaxation.
Inside and lay-out
The interior is simple and friendly with all rooms on one floor. The living room is not very large but offers enough space for 4 persons and has a sofa, two armchairs, TV, and an open fireplace. An arch connects to the kitchen with a dining table, a vitro hob, fridge/freezer, oven, washing machine and a dishwasher. There are two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a shower room with WC and washbasin.
