Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The Point is a historic tight-knit community. The unique neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). There are wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance from the apartment.
Guests have full access to the apartment with a private entrance.
The Loft is a spacious 1000 sqft. apartment located on the second floor of a historic Algiers Point building. This private space is perfect for solo travelers and couples.
In the bedroom is a comfy king-size bed and desk for getting some work done. The living room has plentiful seating and a daybed. We have ultra fast WiFi and a smart TV with free YouTubeTV and HBO Max.
The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator/freezer, oven/stove, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. The private bathroom has a tub/shower combo and a sink. Fresh linens, towels and essential amenities are provided.
Please note: the apartment is on the second floor, up one flight of stairs. The bedroom is separate from the living room and semi-private, but there is no bedroom door.
The apartment is walking distance to the Algiers Point/Canal Street Ferry terminal. The ferry takes you across the Mississippi River in about 5 minutes. It drops you off in the French Quarter on Canal Street. The cost is $2 and it departs every 30 minutes. The 108 Bus stops 2 blocks away on the corner of Bouny Street & Opelousas Avenue.
