Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Well positioned Hotel in a pretty position alongside the river. Our room was in the main block Dinner was good and the restaurant staff very helpful and friendly and was a generously sized twin room with a shower room. Excellent and friendly staff in the restaurant which is well positioned overlooking the river. Food was good and service prompt. Breakfast was also good.

Negative: Packed lunch was terrible!! They should make an effort to make some fresh sandwiches rather than buy a processed sausage roll or pasty from the corner shop.

Summary: Very good stay in a good location for walking the wall.
