Positive: On a positive note, the apartment was clean, and we acknowledge that.
Negative: This was our first trip to Italy, and we truly enjoyed our time here. We travel often to different countries and usually stay in Airbnb accommodations, where we have generally been very satisfied with the service. This was our first time booking an apartment through Booking.com. I would like to share our honest feedback. Unfortunately, we were not fully satisfied with the services provided during our stay, especially as we were traveling with our family and two small children. During our stay, we did not have hot water for almost two days. There was no microwave, which is usually essential for short stays, especially when traveling with children. The apartment also did not have a television, which is a basic source of entertainment for travelers. In addition, the internet connection was unstable and disconnected frequently. In the kitchen, the cooking hotplates had no proper ventilation. The only ventilation was located far away on the wall, which caused strong food smells to spread throughout the kitchen and the apartment. We also noticed that some electrical switch covers were missing. This made us concerned about safety, particularly for our children. We are attaching photos for reference. Another major issue for us was communication. We did not have a direct contact number to reach someone for immediate assistance. Communication was only available through chat, and response times were often very long. We contacted Booking.com for support, and they genuinely tried to help us, which we appreciated.
