The garden café is currently operating a limited service for food & beverage. breakfast is continental only, grab and go breakfast can also be provided on request. full english country breakfast is served on saturdays and sundays. we also offer a small selection of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks. please contact the property for further information. we do not currently have a bar or restaurant available in the manor house building, we are able to accommodate small toy dogs (under 10kg) on request in our garden rooms only. a supplement of £20.00 per night is applicable and paid direct to the property on check in. dogs are not permitted in the club, the hayloft spa or garden café for hygiene reasons. please inform us in advance if you will be brining a dog. please note cats or any other type of pet will not be accommodated under any circumstances. guide & service dogs are exempt from this policy and charges on production of correct paperwork, the garden double rooms are located in a separate annex building and not the main manor house. not recommended for lone female travelers, children's swimming times are as follows: monday to friday 4pm to 5pm, saturday and sunday 9.30am till 10.30am and 4pm till 5pm.please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. you can use the special requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation, if you require an invoice when booking a prepaid rate, write this and your company details in the special requests box, in the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay, this property might host on-site functions, so noise may be audible in some rooms, this property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties, when booking half board, note that drinks are not included, it's recommended to bring your own vehicle since this property is not serviced by public transportation, guests are required to show a photo id and credit card upon check-in. please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply, guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Positive: Great value for money, receptionist/night manager on arrival was very friendly and professional, spa facilities were great and clean, pool warm. room was big and bathroom looked recently refurbished, looks like a lovely setting, and if weather had been kinder would have liked to walk the grounds
Negative: Room was cold on arrival, and whilst a big room felt a little sparsely furnished, and I have never seen floorboards with such big gaps, probably contributing to coldness! - needed a sofa and an armchair to full the space, and would feel like a suite rather than a large bedroom. arriving at the spa and having to go through back corridors to get to the room did not feel like arriving at a nice country house hotel, a shame, as when we looked at the main entrance in the morning it was so nice!
Summary: So close to being a great hotel - if some of the details could be attended to would love to go back
