Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: the staff were friendly, the hotel was in the centre of town, there are cafes and restaurants and a Metro station nearby. Breakfast is available. So is free wifi, but you have to specify that you want to use it and get a specially printed username and password. Once obtained it works quite well and automatically when you return to the hotel.
Negative: No air conditioning, which is a challenge in August. The bed and pillows were somewhat hard for our taste. We had one small piece of soap which for some mysterious reason disappeared on our last day! There was no soap in the two containers for liquid soap. We ended up using the shampoo to wash our hands (didn't bother going all the way down to reception etc) We discovered a small fridge. It worked, but we had to clean it and there was water in it. Other occupants were loud at night time (incl. after midnight), and every morning incl. Sunday there were binmen shouting outside and the rubbish van was really loud!- No fault of the hotel but very disruptive.
Summary: Good location, ok price, friendly staff, bit loud at times, could be more organised.
