Positive: From what we saw, this was the only hotel right on the main square and facing the Orvieto Duomo, which is the hub of activity. So the best location out of all other hotels and guesthouses in the area! It’s a small and cozy hotel with charming and exceptionally clean rooms with calming blues and white colours, almost gives a sense of being the countryside. Luckily our window faced the alleyway and the houses at the back, so it was very quiet an we had a restful sleep. Due to the hotel’s location, we were able to sit out at the front patio overlooking the square and the Duomo till well into the night—-definitely do not miss doing this! Hotel staff do speak some English as well.
Negative: The checkout time is earlier than the typical 11am.
