Summary: During our stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations, which impacted the overall appearance of the exterior and lobby and made the initial impression less inviting. That said, the front desk staff and the team at the on-site pub were both friendly and professional, which we appreciated. The pub itself offered limited food options and could benefit from minor updates to enhance its overall ambiance. Upon settling into our room, we noticed an unusual odor from the bed linens, and the carpet appeared in need of refreshing. Due to fatigue, we made temporary adjustments to the bedding to rest comfortably for the night. The hotel shows strong potential; however, greater attention to detail—particularly in cleanliness and upkeep—is needed to significantly improve the guest experience.
