Ideal for walks in an area not affected by traffic. The 12 people who still live in this place are happy to give you an insight into their everyday life if you approach them openly and with a few Italian words. I personally am in town all summer.
On the other hand, you can also take day trips to the largest aquarium in Europe to Genoa, Florence, Lucca, Pisa or the Cinque Terre. The beaches of the Versiglia are also not far away. There are 2-3 nature parks for hiking, which are not overcrowded even in summer. Ideal for day trips.
