Summary: The pair in charge of this property were very pleasant and the property is well situated between Glengarriff and Bantry. The cooked breakfast was quite good and the support staff were friendly and helpful. That’s the good. The music played downstairs is far too loud for the paper thin walls. The music did not go off until close to 1am on our second night making sleeping an impossibility. The rooms have inadequate tea/coffee facilities and there was no hot water when we arrived for check in in the early evening. Check in also isn’t until 6pm which is not so convenient. The rooms are OK but definitely in need of modernisation. The place has heaps of potential but definitely need a little investment.
