Positive: We stayed for three awesome nights, and although this is a decent amount of time to spend in the area, we wish we had booked at least another couple of nights. Lulu and her team did an amazing job accommodating our needs and taking care of us. Lulu organized a fantastic cave tour for us and helped us with other issues. The homestay itself offered a comfortable stay for us, it has excellent beds, a good shower, and is conveniently located in a quieter and more picturesque part of Phong Nha, next to a variety of cafés and restaurants. Laundry was returned smelling wonderful within a few hours. There were two added bonuses for our stay. Firstly, Lulu and her family organize a shared dinner for the hotel guests, which we really recommend joining, as we met some interesting and kind fellow travelers. Secondly, they have a very cute golden retriever, which we bonded with. It was sad to leave but we hope to be back one day.
