Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Beautiful place to stay in a secluded area, run by a lovely local family. Location was perfect for us as we wanted to have a relaxing and calm stay, far from the usual hustle of touristic crowds. Cottage was clean and spacious, with beautiful views overlooking the river. The Sri Lankan Breakfast was amazing! We had it every day for the 4 days we stayed and we were generously given extra portions of the local food ❤️ The Sri Lankan Dinner options were just as tasty. The family were very helpful in arranging tours and tuktuks for us whenever we needed. The river swim was the highlight of our stay. Close by, there are also tea estates which are well worth a visit. All in all, this is a place you must visit :)
