Summary: It was well worth the money to stay right on the south rim. The room was not new, but very clean and tidy. We were happy to have the air conditioning in mid-July. The front desk staff was lovely - very courteous and helpful. Parking was tight but we were able to find spots not excessively far from the room. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Thunderbird Lodge.
