Positive: This hotel was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The arrival at the end of a long, hot day’s walking was so welcoming and it only got better from there. The staff were very professional and friendly, organising an evening meal for our party, getting drinks speedily and most especially checking us into our rooms quickly. The hotel wellness suite was superb - there is a good selection of pools (indoors and outdoors) with sauna/hot room etc - which was wonderful as it allowed us to ease off tired legs . We did not part-take of the spa treatments, but the range on offer was good
