1 Day Rafting

Summary: We had a fabulous day of rafting. Just the perfect combination for our teens and us. Not too extreme but with a lot of action and fun. We stoped on the way at beautiful waterfalls. Many birds and butterflies and we even saw a monkey! The guide was great! Really had a wonderful day.

Summary: We got the 1 day experience through Pai adventures, our rafting guide John was amazing, he couldn't do enough for us, filmed all of the fun bits on his gopro which was sent to us later, he was also very informative about the nature and tendencies of the river, he made our experience! The journey to the launch site was a little bit rough, but it was so worth it! Saw wild gibbons, water buffalo and smashed down some awesome rapids! 10/10 would do again!

Summary: We had a great experience with this company. The family who run the business are so kind and accomodating and really put the effort in to ensure that we were able to go on the trek that we wanted. John, our tour guide, was really great as well; He was both very knowledgeable and a nice happy presence throughout the day. I would recommend trek number 1!

Summary: I went on a there day hike - two days walking and one day rafting - and it was an amazing experience! Saw the jungle up close in a way I've never seen it before, witnessed amazing views and learned so much about the people living in northern Thailand. Every day, we were led by our wonderful local guide Jako who - aside from being funny, entertaining and a great guide - cooked us really great meals and made sure we got safely to the other side, even when the rain was pouring and the path got a bit slippery and difficult.

Summary: What a fantastic experience! We did the 2 days trekking and 1 day rafting. It is a good combination because the trek is pretty hard and you can enjoy the last day in the water swimming and rafting! We really want to thank the wonderful team! Our guide John was really the best! He helped us when we wanted to change our plan and he was so nice. You will get also much information about the area and local people. On the way you will get stunning views over the mountains and farm fields. Thank you John for your patience and peptalks sometime!! All the staff work so hard to let you feel comfortable. Also thank you to the helper and the amazing people in de tribe village. The food is really good and tasty! It was so nice to spend the night in a authentic village and enjoy the beautiful nature. Thank you AST for giving us so much pleasure and fun during the rafting! At last I want to thank the office in Pai for all the clear explanations and helping us to make the adventure work for us! Really recommended if you want a real adventure with beautiful views in the mountains and forest! The staff is super friendly and they do everything to make you feel happy! It was amazing!

Summary: Just returned from a three day trek with Pai Adventures and can highly recommend it It was easy to book and the company was flexible with our starting date . There is a reasonable level of fitness required but the stunning views and amazing jungle scenery is worth the effort It was great to be off the beaten path staying one night in a hill tribe village and the next night camping by a waterfall The food was good and plentiful Pon our guide was fun and informative and we felt safe in the jungle with him Pon can make many things from bamboo including our walking sticks which he replaced each time I left mine behind!

Summary: We did the 2 days trekking with our two kids (9 and 10 years old). We really enjoy the time we spent with our guides. They answered all the questions we had and explain us lots of things. The views were great and we did around 4 to 5h hiking per day. It s going a lot up and down but it was OK for our kids but if you take kids they have to be used to hike a few hours. We spent the evening and night at the guide's village and could meet people and kids there. That was great. The food was really good too. If you search an adventure hike and meet people from a small authentic village, this is the one 👍go for it!

Summary: We did the multi day trekking with Pai Adventures and it was a better experience than we could have asked for! Rugged nature, mountains, rural villages, fields, jungle, an absolutely incredible guide who let us us in his house in his rural village. Very easy to organise everything with Pai Adventures too. Couldn't recommend more highly. Our guide Jacko was a highlight of the trip. His knowledge of the trees, animals, plants, area history and people history was insightful. He was also very funny and gave us some nature made souvenirs as well as edible berries we found along the way. His cooking was also delicious! The trek was tough being steep up and down mountains faces but completely worth it, and enough time in the day to go at whatever pace you need to complete the journey. The only tip we would add, would be to bring ear plugs and eye mask for sleeping at night in the village. Being a village, there's lots of animal and human noises all night!

Summary: This is an absolute ‘don’t miss’ kind of activity to do in Pai! We did the 1 day white water rafting with this company and we loved every second of it! Our tour guide Jacco told us a lot about the jungle and the animals that lived there. We went in rainy season so the river was quite rough, which made it even more fun!! I would totally recommend!
