- Bring a bathing suit and warm layers (dress as if hiking on a cold day), plenty of snacks or a small lunch and water; fully closed running or light hiking shoes that can get wet are required (water shoes and Keen-style sandals are not allowed)
- This activity requires at least a moderate fitness level; it’s not recommended for travelers who are pregnant, have spinal injuries, or have poor cardiovascular health; minimum age is 14
- Prepare for varied mountain weather in the area - pack a warm, waterproof outer layer and plan for conditions that can change quickly in this destination
