Summary: The staff were very kind and great to speak to. My partner and I both speak Japanese very fluently so that definitely helped, but the staff also can speak and understand English very well too! Very relaxing time, and a great experience. Nothing too complicated, but for the price it was excellent, and the shop also has some beautiful products to purchase. As for designs to choose from, they have a decent selection themed across the 4 seasons. To finish you also get a nice photo to bring back to capture the moment. You get what you pay for and a little more!

Summary: We wanted to try something different and unique. The Bamboo Lantern Workshop did not disappoint. Three females accompanied me. They were worried that they would not enjoy this activity since they had never used a drill before. Our instructor Kei was very friendly and assured them that they would be fine. She provided helpful hints and encouragement throughout. The girls started laughing and having a blast after starting on their lanterns. In the end their lanterns turned out nicer than mine! We all agreed that it was a fun experience and would recommend this activity to everyone.
