Summary: Terrific history, thoughtfully told. Great for visitors and Chicago natives alike. James is an engaging storyteller (even when the el is going by!) and answered all of our questions. The 2 hours flew by. Perfect for spooky season!

Summary: James was an incredible tour guide! He was a wealth of information regarding Chicago’s history and gave a great peek into some of Chicago haunts. My husband and I learned so much about the Chicago World’s Fair and Chicago Fire. Walking through downtown Chicago at night was stunning!

Summary: This tour was one of the best experiences we had in Chicago. James was an excellent storyteller who tied in the perfect amount of history, suspense, and levity. It was such a great way to see Chicago, too! We chose this tour over the others because we wanted one that focused on the ghosts/folklore of Chicago without the typical gangster/mob stuff, and it exceeded our expectations! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in Chicago's darker history or ghost stories.
