Summary: This experience was so unique and special. Lulu was an amazing host, and the food was delicious. We have very limited cooking knowledge, and I can tell that she caters the night specific to each group. It got a little chilly as the evening went on, and she went in and got me a shawl so we could remain outside on her beautiful patio. I would highly recommend this experience!

Summary: Learning to make some iconic Puglian dishes with Chef Lu is not to be missed. Chef Lu welcomed us into her lovely home and immediately put us at ease with her genuine warmth. She was very patient and helpful while teaching us how to make orecchiette from scratch. She made sure we had all the correct measurements in case we want to try again at home. We also made beef braciole to go with the pasta. We sat on her large balcony on a beautiful day in Ostuni for a lovely lunch which included an aperitivo of friselle, focaccia, orecchiette with beef braciole, and wine. Perfecto!!

Summary: We were welcomed into the home of our hosts and treated like friends. The lessons were easy to follow and fun and the resulting food absolutely delicious. Plus some very nice Rosé! A truly memorable experience

Summary: If you’re looking for a cooking class in Ostuni, this is a must! Lulu and her assistant, Gio were charming hosts and provided us with excellent instructions in making traditional Italian dishes like orchiaetta, focaccia and crostata. There was ample food, in fact we couldn’t finish everything. Overall, a wonderful experience!!

Summary: My partner, my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class with Lulu and her ‘Quality Controller’ Johnny. We made orecchiette from scratch followed by lasagne, a quick focaccia that Lulu had rested in the fridge for 24 hours prior, then rolled beef that we enjoyed with our beautiful passata at the end of the night when we got to feast on all we had created. We really enjoyed our time in Lulu’s home and her gentle and expert guidance during the class. Some of our orecchiette may have looked a bit odd, but they still tasted good! We also enjoyed Lulus generosity in providing Prosecco, wine and a final limoncello top off a lovely night on the balcony of Lulus apartment.

Summary: What a wonderful way to learn and experience Ostuni! My partner and I love to travel and being able to re-create these dishes at home will bring back this experience for years to come. She walked us through every step of the process and helped us with the cooking. The hours flew by as we prepared each dish and learned how to properly cook them, and we whittled away any down time on the beautiful terrace overlooking the city. We found this experience relaxing, and very filling. You work, and then you eat!

Summary: Chef Lulu and Gianni were the absolute best hosts and we cannot say enough wonderful things about our cooking experience. From the time we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming and started our cooking class with delicious and traditional appertivo and wine. Lulu helped us perfect our orecchiette to the right size and shape and guided us through the other 2 dishes plus dessert! The night was full of laughter, learning and wonderful new friends made in beautiful Ostuni.
