Summary: We traveled in a Sprinter type of van. Our group of 11 people we not very comfortable. These vans are made for smaller and younger people. We took plenty of breaks to stretch our legs and use the bathroom. Our guide was very knowledgeable about all the local people and cultures. He gave us history and pointed out several points of interest along the way. The train was on time and kept a very tight schedule. We did first class on the way up the canyon. It was well worth the money to have the rear bar car with the windows that opened up and gave us the feel of being in an open car. The views from the train were great. All of the places we stayed at were good. We enjoyed our 3-night stay at the top of the rim at Copper Canyon. Every room overlooked the canyon. We enjoyed breakfast every day with the sun rise in the dining room. Our guide took us on a couple of short walking tours in different towns to show us some of the points of interest in the town. The views of Copper Canyon were beautiful.
