It’s difficult to sum up such an incredible adventure in a few words. I travelled with my nephew, I have 50+ years riding experience and my nephew 2 years. I flew into Kathmandu a few days before the journey started to help with acclimatisation, well worth doing. We met Vish and his great team at the hotel, did a short ride around the city to get a feel for the Himalayan bike, they are perfect for the job. The journey started the next day, the roads were challenging in Nepal but always felt safe. Tibet was again incredible, went to Tibet Everest base camp on route to Lhasa, stayed at great hotels. Everything was well organised and the support team were brilliant.
Tips: Make sure you are fit for adventure riding when you travel. We rode at 44 degrees to 0 degrees within a week, take plenty of layered clothing.
You will have the experience of a lifetime.
