Summary: Marisol was an excellent local guide. She made the boarder crossing very easy. She showed us places we would have never found on our own. She also introduced us to local restaurant/shop owners that gave us an insiders view of local life in Tijuana.

Summary: This tour was the best way to see Tijuana in an afternoon. Our tour guide was Tabitha and she was wonderful! She really made our tour memorable. It was so much fun! We had a delicious lunch, did a tequila tasting, saw the highlights, learned a lot, and did some shopping. I would highly recommend this tour and don't forget to ask for Tabitha.

Summary: We had Humberto as our local guide. Very accommodating, knowledgeable and most of all on time. We enjoyed every bit of the tour as we get both sides of the package, we got to know the history of the place and at the same time we had darn GOOD FUN! so many highlights to the tour, the walk at the plaza Sta Cecilia, then getting to know how Tijuana came about, local markets, the sinfully deliciouw quesadilias and then 14 shots of tequila tasting and craft beer tasting. Humberto even made time to help us go back to the local market to buy souvenirs. Thank you and definitely recommended!

Summary: Marisol was great! She was personable and very knowledgeable. She went out of her way to insure that we enjoyed ourselves and our needs and desires were met. At he border on our return she made sure we knew where to go and helped us reach the proper crossing area.

Summary: This tour with Carlos was excellent. He was very thorough in giving instructions about how to cross the border and meet him on the Tijuana side staying in touch with us the whole way via WhatsApp. It was clear that he has pride in his hometown of Tijuana and wanted to share that with us. He took us to three amazing taco stands/restaurants and told us stories and taught us about the local history and culture as we walked through the streets of the city. Going to the central market and doing a candy tasting were also highlights. Carlos encouraged questions and gave thoughtful answers. I thoroughly enjoyed my day with Carlos walking through his hometown with him and learning about Tijuana. I highly recommend both this Walking Tour of Tijuana and Carlos as your guide.

Summary: We are from San Diego and have wanted to do a Tijuana day trip for a while. Since it seemed like boarder crossing at San Ysidro was not complicated and the downtown Tijuana area is relatively small and appeared simple to navigate, I initially thought we would figure it out ourselves. However, I ultimately decided it would probably be better to go with a guide for our first time to the city and I am so glad that I did. Our guide was Victor and he was very knowledgeable about some of the history of the area and gave us a lot of options for great spots to visit. It turned out nobody else booked for the time/date we went so we ended up having a private tour. We stopped at several places for food which were all fantastic, and the highlight for me was tequila tasting at a small bar in the middle of the Mercado el Popo.
