Summary:
Cyprus has an understanding of and passion for his subject which even I, a retired teacher of 37 years experience, found inspirational. He brought the events and background to the events of 1857 to life, drawing little maps of India and moving pebbles around to illustrate the build up of tensions in nineteenth century India. I had as long as I wanted to take pictures, ask questions and just wander around The Residency which was very much appreciated.
Lunch was utterly delicious; Cyrus's other passion is food and lunch was truly an experience.
If you have any interest in Indian history, take this tour. If you don't, take it anyway...Cyprus will bring eighteenth and nineteenth century India to life.
