Mateo Peak
A private car will pick you up at ~3AM from your hotel. After a 2h30 drive, you will reach the trailhead in Punta Olimpica. At the first sunrise lights, you will start hiking with our certified mountain guide for 1h on steep moraine rocks, then 1h30 on glacier with crampons and safety rope. You will finally summit the Mateo glacier at 5150m shortly after sunrise!! After enjoying the peak, you will descend for ~1h30 and drive back to Huaraz, arriving around 12AM-1PM.

When I arrived in Huaraz, I felt more excited than ever — the mountains and natural conditions here are just incredible! Compared to China, Europe, and the U.S., it's also much more cost-effective for climbing.
During my stay in Huaraz, Mila gave me incredibly thoughtful advice and even lent me some gear. I didn’t feel like just a customer — it felt more like we were long-lost friends meeting for the first time.
