Summary: Great temples, great museum. Just amazing place to visit and spend some time relaxing and thinking. Great restaurants just at foothill of the temples: Neptune!

Summary: The archaeological park of Paestum is truly wonderful. Millennial beauty, place of culture of inestimable value. There are three large temples, one of which can be visited inside. The museum, attached to the park, is also rich in Greek and Lucanian beauties and the guide to the tombs is really interesting. The only flaw, the STRONG SMELL of dung that comes from a buffalo farm nearby. It was not pleasant to visit the archaeological site with that nauseating smell. The responsibility of course lies with no one but those who support the use of animals enslaved by gluttony. I dare not imagine what those poor creatures can live.

Summary: We arrived by camper directly from Padua. Parked at the Aeolian camper area and, as a Service, there is water and electricity. Watch out because the taps are at both ends and the columns are in the central parking lots. Cost 18 euros per night. Quiet and wooded area. The archaeological area can be visited without problems and queues (at least in June...). The tour takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Included is a small museum (duration about 20 minutes) and a guided tour of the basements where there are archaeological finds (duration about 40 minutes). In the central area, pedestrian only, I know or places to eat, souvenirs and that's it. In the premises the prices are average and you eat well. If you only go to the archaeological area invest about a couple of hours because then there is nothing left to do, unless you have bikes to get around. Have a nice holiday...
