Summary: Well worth the visit. Very informative and guides were on hand with extra stories/history. Easy and safe to climb. Fascinating that it still is a working lighthouse.

Summary: We were lucky to visit on a sunny day. Very knowledgable staff. Awesome 360 degree views (obviously). Good climb up but very doable. Quite a bit of history to read. There were two other platforms that you can walk out to for a view back back to the lighthouse or out to sea. There is also a cafe a couple of minutes walk down the road which had a good selection of meals and snacks

Summary: Anyone who grew up in the 90s will recognise this Lighthouse from Round the Twist - and aside from the connection to the TV show, it is a fantastic and educational experience to visit. Well worth the $10 ticket to go inside with a guide and get a spectacular view from the top. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to chat and answer questions. It's worth doing the short walk to the lookouts as well for more fantastic scenery. We stopped at the little cafe in the former stables, just down the road, for some cold drinks and morning tea - also highly recommended.
