Summary: Very interesting and informative tour led by Bob. Extensive explanation of the vineyard work from January through to October by our guide, followed by explanations of the winemaking and distilling processes. Wine tasting inside with reasonable sized samples of their white, rose and red wines- I was not familiar with any of the grapes grown at La Mare. Great gift shop at the end - perfect for buying family gifts if you are heading home in a few days.
