Summary: We went there with our daughter. Never been in a lava tube before so we thought it would be fun. You got a helmet and flashlights as safety equipment. It was very cool and interesting to see how the lava tubes formed. You do have to walk down a metal winding staircase and it is cool and wet down there. There is NO bathroom so go before. No gift shop. Guide was very informative and made the tour interesting.
