Summary: I felt it was a little unusual place to stay, we have never stayed in a b&b before so I am not sure if the experience was normal. We booked the family room, not quite sure what made this the family room. It was just a bed and side tables no tv or sitting area. ( there was a nice community area though no tvs anywhere though). We booked a room that included breakfast, then received a txt that stated breakfast is extra $15 pp. Don’t get me wrong this room was very cheap so can understand if they charge for breakfast but seems a bit misleading that you charge extra and pay cash or bank transfers when you believe that is part of the package. I didn’t question that with the hosts but declined the $15 breakfast. I was told by another guest that there was a extra charge to use the spa pool so didn’t bother with that either. But to be honest I wouldn’t have booked there if o had known these details, They seemed polite hosts, with firm boundaries. I will not be staying with B&B after this experience, just an uncomfortable feel staying at someone’s house, but that maybe just my feeling.
