Summary: The appartment was excellent, it was very clean and our hosts were very kind and generous. Food gifts were left for us ( regional breads and beer) apart from the well stocked larder for our use in the kitchen. I could communicate with them through WhatsApp, so any information etc I needed was quickly given. They offered to take us on a tour of the town and even took us out to the Castle Miramare. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Bus stop very close, 25 minute walk to town ( there are a flight of steps on the way but they can be avoided by walking straight on. Fresh fish available to buy just outside property boundary. Mini market 5 minute walk, supermarket 15 minute walk ( steep hill on the way back, we managed it we’re over 70 years old, easy bus journey also available. Cards and other games provided, balcony furniture extensive plus comfy cushions. We have never met such friendly, kind and generous hosts, and we have stayed in a lot of apartments around the world. We were even taken to the cruise port at the end of the week and I was given a pretty lavender bag as a present. Wonderful place and wonderful hosts.
