Summary:
The walking tour of Durham with Fran was a delightful way to spend a couple hours. We walked and talked about ancient and current Durham—its history, people, culture. And I even got some recs for other things to do during the rest of the day. Because this tour came at the end of my trip to the North of England and southern Scotland, our conversation tied several themes together and was a great way to wrap things up before heading home. I did two tours, one of Hadrian's Wall, and one specially created for me, which followed the life story of a 19th century serial killer (for a book I'm working on).
