Summary: What a great way to see K’gari! Our guide, Kirk, was so knowledgeable and passionate about the island and had some great stories to share with us throughout the day The bus was air conditioned and comfy even over the bumps which made for an interesting drive We visited Eli Creek, the rainforest and Mackenzie lake and even though we’d had a delay due to traffic we had more than enough time to have a good explore of all areas We also came across an opportunity to have a flight across the island through a third party and our guide took other passengers on to see areas on the bus and came back for us Highlight was of course the dingoes! We even saw puppies

Summary: The experience itself was fantastic and Dave was extremely informative. Anyone going must be prepared to be driving most of the day, but when you are out of the vehicle, the sights are wonderful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this, particularly with the small groups. My suggestion would be to book directly with the company. My commentary would be toward TripAdvisor itself, when booking, we had no option to select specific dietaries; and, the meeting time on the confirmation email was wrong. The confirmation email said to be at the river heads cafe at 7:10. This is incorrect, it’s 8am.
