Portsmouth Historic Dockyard: Ultimate Explorer
There are ships, submarines, physical challenges, simulators and more at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. This ticket gets you access to the site for a whole year! Take a harbour tour for the history of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, and amuse the little ones with a water bus across to Royal Navy Submarine Museum or a 4D experience Dive the Mary Rose. At The National Museum of the Royal Navy, use your audio guide to learn about a huge bronze cannon lifted from the wreck of HMS Victory 1744 – the predecessor to Nelson's famous flagship – and marvel at the HMS Warrior, a remnant of the Victorian era that still stands proudly in the harbour. This ticket allows you to create your own perfect day out by visiting the attractions you want to, whether it's travelling back to Tudor England to marvel at Henry VIII’s ship the Mary Rose, or going out to sea on a harbour tour.

- hms victory is currently undergoing a long term conservation project, so the outside has scaffolding but inside remains unaffected. this is so we can preserve the ship for many years to come. you can visit the exhibition ‘victory live’ where visitors can learn more about the project
- some attractions have age & height restrictions
- 03 november 2019 - 30 march 2020, the royal navy submarine museum is closed every monday and tuesday. the explosion museum is closed monday to friday
- no dogs, except guide dogs
- winter (nov-mar): harbour tours are subject to availability and weather conditions; waterbus runs at weekends only
