Ready for an adventurous day on Ikaria? You’ll start at Evdilos square and head to Agios Dimitrios for a unique hike through the centuries-old Randi Forest, walking beneath ancient trees and immersing yourself in the island’s unspoiled wilderness. From there you continue to the breathtaking Seychelles Beach by a small boat from Magganitis, where the clear waters and sea caves invite you to snorkel and explore marine nooks few visitors see. After swimming, you’ll drive to a traditional village-either Magganitis or Akamatra-for a leisurely lunch of local cuisine that completes the day. You return to our office in Evdilos full of memories of this Ikarian adventure, a perfect Outdoor & Nature and Water-Based experience to pair with your stay booked through Varoom.

Summary:
This was an absolutely unforgettable experience! Hiking through Randi’s Forest was stunning — the views, the peaceful trails, and the sense of history made it so special. Taking the boat out to Seychelles was just as amazing, and the lunch we enjoyed there was fresh, delicious, and perfectly timed after the adventure.
What made the day truly outstanding was our guide, Christo. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed themselves. His passion for the island and its nature really came through, and we learned so much thanks to him.
I can’t recommend this tour enough — it’s the perfect combination of nature, adventure, and relaxation. If you’re visiting Ikaria, this is a must-do!

Summary:
What a fantastic experience on the island of Ikaria! A beautiful hike through the Randis Forest way up in the mountains. Following the hike, a stop for lunch in a small taverna overlooking the port of Magganitis. After a delicious lunch, we hiked down a rocky path to the Seychelles Beach. All I can say is WOW!! Amazingly blue crystal clear blue water!! No wonder this beach is all over Instagram.
Stefanos is an excellent hiking guide and very easy to talk to. He takes great care to ensure your safety on the hike and great pride in sharing this island. He is also a great driver in the mountains!
