Summary: Very good day out! Will definitely be returning to do the other escape room ‘The Hole’ Will (the prison guard) made it feel an authentic prison experience! Feels like you’re genuinely about to be locked up! Also really enjoyed having a stroll around the rest of the prison after, not very often you get let loose to explore on your own, that made the whole experience even better. Ended up being there for a total of 3 hours (which flew by!) 10/10👍🏼

Summary: Fascinating to o see the inside of the prison that closed relatively recently. The information boards really bring the reality of a historical prison to life. We enjoyed the escape room (despite arriving late, we were included and looked after) too. Lots of code cracking lateral thinking skills needed. It’s a bit grim to be having fun in a prison but we would highly recommend.

Summary: Excellent value for money. Will was our guide / prison officer and he was amazing! He was in character from start to finish. Great mix of clues to find and puzzles to solve. Both our groups managed to escape with one group only having 30 seconds left on the clock! Cant wait to go back and try the other three rooms!!

Summary: Did the cell escape today. Was really a brilliant experience and you can do a self guided tour after. The guard that took us to the cell was very in character Made us nervous and laugh at the same time ! Absolutely brill. Would recommend

Summary: It was very well organised and so much fun! Some of us had never done an escape room before so didn’t know what to expect but it was brilliant. Shout out to Will he was good fun and got into character

Summary: Booked this as a present to do with my adult nephews and niece and what a fabulous time we all had! A great experience run by a professional team of staff! Our prison guard for the Escape Room experience was called Will He was FANTASTIC! We All loved (and laughed quietly!!! ) from the onset at the Prison Guard telling off - it completely set the whole experience off with a brilliant start! He was superb! The Escape Room experience was amazing - the clues and subsequent solving kept us TOTALLY engaged from start to finish with plenty of laughter along the way! Thankfully our prison guard Will was able to give us a few clues along the way!! (And in character which I thought was just brilliant!!) Will also totally engaged us with some snippets of history after the experience. The price included a self guided tour after. But with the few stories Will told us, we were so enthralled that we felt we’d rather come back again and pay for a guided tour as we didn’t want to miss out on any of the stories or information that comes from that personal guided tour from the amazing staff! We absolutely loved it! And are already planning on booking the guided tour and to do the other Escape Room experience and to do the Ghost Tour Having lived in / around Shepton all our lives, was absolutely fascinating to see what lay behind those tall walls that we have passed every day for years and years …..and to have known so little of the history - it’s captivating! Cannot wait to get back for that guided tour! I have a feeling it will definately be worth going back for! Thankyou all for such a fab experience! Summary: We were a large group so split into 2 groups as max of 5 people per cell. One group managed to escape with plenty of time to spare, the other didn't! My daughter thought she could get a head start by googling escape tips, these were no help at all! Good mix of challenges to test you. You get to walk around and see the prison if you want to and would definitely recommend making the most of your visit. Very interesting. Small cafe if you fancy coffee and cake before or after your experience. Prison is Dog friendly but not in the escape rooms. Limited parking on the road right outside.

Summary: We had a great time in the escape room....although we got locked in haha! Less by the lovely Will he was great and took the time after to talk to us. You can tell he has passion. It was such a great game and we want to come back for more experiences

Summary: Great fun - so pleased we "The girls" escaped with 12 minutes to spare.... unlike our better halves! The tour of the prison beforehand was really interesting and quite sad. It isn't somewhere I'd have chosen to visit if not for the gift of the escape room - But very well worth while. Certainly something we should encourage children to look around. It really is not that long since the cells were in use.

Summary: I surprised my husband with an Escape Room experience at Shepton Mallet for his birthday. Romantic, I know! We had time to explore the prison before and afterwards and absolutely loved the Escape Room, working together as a team to get out before the one hour deadline. We had never done an escape room together and it turned out better than we could have imagined. We love telling friends about it and we're trying to get a group together to go back and do the bigger rooms they have available.
